Biscuits rose de Reims

We had a little celebration yesterday, due to a colleague of having received a permanent position in one of the French Universities. This is the first celebration that I had participated in in France, and however casual and small it was, it allowed me to learn a few cultural points.

Perhaps, the most memorable were the four kinds of Champagne that I tried (one being actually not real Champagne, but a sparkling wine produced in Bordeaux area), as well as Biscuit rose de Reims – a special kind of pink biscuits produced in Reims, which are used as a snack with Champagne.
