Little disappointments: laundry

The Laundry machine in the residence where I live is very small for my usual two-week load. I will have to start washing my clothes more often. What upsets me more, however, is the inefficiency of the drier. The laundry room in my last apartment building...

French Paradox

I cannot stop to marvel at the beauty of Bordeaux. All the houses in residential neighborhoods are different, clean and cared for. Each house has a spacious garden with many flowers and trees, which obviously take a lot of work to make them look neat....

Intermixing

I am very positively impressed by the cultural integration in France. It is most noticeable when it comes to the interracial couples. You will rarely meet such couples in the US, even in such a diverse city as New York. Indeed, most ethnic/cultural communities...
